Warm Sound
A 2 track minimal/glitch single (14m 8s) — released April 7th 2008 on Wah Wah 45s
Scrimshire's second single on Wah Wah 45s comes almost exactly a year after his debut, 'You Will Save Me' (remixed by Spiritual South) dropped, and during that time this young South London producer has been busy in his basement honing his sound and putting the finishing touches to a plethora of stunning new tracks.
'Warm Sound', featuring the sublime vocals of up-and-coming Norwegian songstress Inga-Lill Aker, first appeared on the second 'Underground Hits & Exclusive Bits' compilation in 2007, and here gets a gorgeous minimal house re-rub by man-of-the-moment Aaron Jerome. On the flip, Scrimshire continues to explore the style of his first single with an extended, percussive workout entitled 'When The World Was Young' (Part 2) where the haunting choral vocals take things that bit deeper – reminiscent of a certain Troubleman perhaps.
Check Scrimshire's other new cut, 'Mistaken' (featuring the very soulful Rob Hynd) on the next 'Underground Hits' compilation, out in April!!
